CJ Entertainment enters partnership with STAYGE Labs to launch K-Pop music platform in 2022

In some exciting news for K-Pop global fan community, they can look forward to a brand new digital platform serving K-Pop music in 2022. The new K-Pop music platform will be created by Korean startup STAYGE Labs and Korea’s leading global entertainment company CJ Entertainment.

STAYGE Labs runs a vertical blockchain platform designed specially based on the entertainment industry and K-Pop fan community. CJ ENM, which has invested in STAYGE Labs, enters a strategic partnership with the startup to create a platform based on music content in the first half of next year.

CJ ENM owns the IP of Mnet, the biggest music channel in Korea, KCON( K-culture festival), MAMA(Mnet Asian Music Award), etc. CJ Entertainment’s notable accomplishments include the Oscar-winning movie “Parasite” and hit Netflix K-Drama’ Crashing Landing on you.’

STAYGE Labs has experience in digital platform operation and expertise in new technologies such as NFT and blockchain technology. In 2018, it introduced ‘STAYGE,’ a global fan community service, and launched ‘Presented LIVE,’ a web-based global live streaming platform, last year. Through this, it has more than 500,000 members worldwide, including the United States, Japan, and Southeast Asia.
