Virtual Human developer startup Forms attracts investment from D-Camp

Virtual Influencers are taking over the digital media world and gaining millions of followers. Korean startup Forms has been developing these digital human forms with Artificial Intelligence software development technology. Forms have secured an investment from D-Camp to further drive its research and development activities and promote the advancement of virtual Human and virtual influencer service capabilities.

D-Camp is a startup support institution established in 2012 by 19 domestic financial institutions. It holds a demo day event called ‘D-Day’ to promote startups and to provide opportunities for investment, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), purchase, recruitment, and promotion. Forms participated in the D-Day of D-Camp in October 2022 and won the Seodaemun-gu Office Award.

Forms is a software development company that creates AI virtual influencers based on deep learning. The company develops AI virtual humans, which can be used for various services. With Forms’ SaaS (Software as a Service) service, one can use the virtual Human model at any desired time. Currently, Forms is conducting a beta service called ‘Faceform,’ which is called an AI model agency.

Forms also sell virtual human intellectual property rights (IP) directly to companies. In particular, the service was recognized for its stability by delivering live-streaming services to listed companies in 2022.

Forms CEO Lee Jung-jin said, “We will do our best to build and develop services so that all companies can use and own virtual humans as marketing content.”
