Invest Seoul, the foreign investment promotion agency established by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, has announced the “Seoul Forward: Your Next Business Destination” conference. This highly anticipated event will be held on June 11th, 2024, at the Alexandra Hotel in Hong Kong, and is aimed at providing Hong Kong-based companies with a comprehensive overview of the lucrative business opportunities available in Seoul.

The conference is part of a broader initiative by the Seoul Metropolitan Government to foster economic growth and attract foreign direct investment (FDI) by highlighting the strategic advantages and support available for global enterprises looking to enter the Seoul market. The event will feature a series of seminars and one-on-one meetings tailored to the needs of Hong Kong companies interested in exploring business opportunities and partnerships in Seoul.

In 2023, on July 19, Invest Seoul in partnership with the Seoul Metropolitan Government, had successfully concluded “Seoul Forward-Your Next Business Destination,” in Hong Kong. Invest Seoul, along with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), had introduced the investment environment of Seoul to companies interested in expanding their business ventures.

Invest Seoul, established in February 2022, is dedicated to creating a foreign investor-friendly environment in Seoul. The agency aims to attract prominent global companies and foreign investment by providing tailored services that meet the specific needs of global investors. This is achieved through collaboration with industry-specialized institutions and private-sector experts, ensuring comprehensive support for foreign investors.

Invest Seoul’s “Seoul Forward: Your Next Business Destination” conference promises to be an invaluable event for Hong Kong-based companies seeking to expand their global footprint. Attendees will gain insights into the dynamic business environment of Seoul, learn about the comprehensive support available, and explore opportunities for growth and innovation in one of Asia’s most vibrant cities.
