South Korea’s most forward-thinking SaaS innovators are headed to Japan IT Week Autumn 2025, as part of the highly anticipated Korea Innovation Convergence Summit, a three-day event spotlighting the country’s most scalable and globally-ready software startups.

Building on the momentum of previous Global SaaS Market Penetration (GSMP) events, the summit has a track record of delivering real business results.

At the 2025 U.S. edition in Washington, D.C., held at the Ronald Reagan Building this June, participating Korean startups engaged in strategic discussions with U.S. government agencies, enterprise buyers, and venture investors—resulting in MOU signings, pilot opportunities, and long-term partnership deals.

Organized by Korea’s National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) under the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT), and delivered with the support of the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA), Didim365, and beSUCCESS Media Group, the summit aims to foster deep collaboration between Korea’s rising tech ventures and Japanese enterprises, investors, and system integrators.

Held at Makuhari Messe, the summit will feature live demos, pitching sessions, business matchmaking, and investor networking designed to create tangible opportunities for cross-border scale and cooperation.

Meet the Nine Korean Startups Taking Center Stage

This year’s summit features a new cohort of nine innovative SaaS startups, each selected for their cutting-edge technologies, enterprise readiness, and potential for global growth. These companies are redefining how organizations approach marketing, cybersecurity, learning, productivity, and AI adoption:

  • Digitalog Technologies Inc. – A cloud-based marketing coordination platform that streamlines campaign planning, scheduling, and team collaboration to boost marketing efficiency.
  • Opensurvey Inc. – An AI-powered B2B SaaS platform offering integrated survey design, real-time analytics, and automated reporting. Trusted by major clients including Starbucks Korea and Yuhan-Kimberly.
  • Plateer Inc. – A personalized marketing solution using AI and big data to enable real-time customer insights, segmentation, omnichannel campaign automation, and product recommendations. Adopted by 120+ e-commerce brands including Lotte Homeshopping and THE HANDSOME.com.
  • Newin Inc. – A mobile-first social learning platform that helps enterprises create collaborative and engaging digital learning environments.
  • F1Security, Inc. – A web security SaaS provider offering an intelligent web application firewall and digital asset protection against external cyber threats.
  • Polaris Office Corp. – A cloud-based productivity suite enabling real-time document editing and team collaboration—empowering remote and hybrid workforces worldwide.
  • Law&Company Co., Ltd. – Offers a generative AI-powered legal chatbot assistant that enhances legal teams’ productivity by automating documentation and routine workflows.
  • STCLab Inc. – Provides a large-scale concurrent traffic control engine that optimizes backend system performance by regulating app traffic through multi-stage filtering.
  • WINS – An integrated solution that detects and actively responds to various security threats, providing good security in cloud environments and offering IPS, anti-DDoS, and APT response solutions as SaaS.

Building on Global Momentum

This summit builds on the success of past GSMP showcases in Japan and the United States. Most recently, the 2025 U.S. edition held at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C. (June 18–19) proved the international appetite for Korea’s SaaS innovation. That event facilitated high-impact conversations between Korean startups and key American government agencies, enterprise buyers, and VCs focused on mission-driven digital transformation.

In 2024, the Korean SaaS Showcase at Japan IT Week featured 15 high-growth companies across cloud, AI, analytics, and cybersecurity—many already generating significant revenue, with some surpassing $100 million and demonstrating strong global scalability.

In 2025, the Tokyo summit reflects Korea’s strategic effort to position itself not only as a manufacturer of consumer tech but also as a global exporter of enterprise software excellence.

Why Japanese Tech Leaders Should Attend

With Japan’s enterprise sector rapidly digitizing, there is growing demand for nimble, AI-driven, cost-effective SaaS solutions—especially those that come with proven track records and flexible integration capabilities.

The Korea Innovation Convergence Summit offers Japanese stakeholders a rare opportunity to:

  • Get early access to Korea’s next-generation enterprise tools
  • Engage with founders and technical teams in-person
  • Explore partnership and co-development opportunities
  • Gain insights into SaaS trends shaping global industries

Attendance is free with Japan IT Week registration.
