South Korea’s most forward-thinking SaaS innovators are headed to Japan IT Week Autumn 2025, as part of the highly anticipated Korea Innovation Convergence Summit, a three-day event spotlighting the country’s most scalable and globally-ready software startups.
Building on the momentum of previous Global SaaS Market Penetration (GSMP) events, the summit has a track record of delivering real business results.
At the 2025 U.S. edition in Washington, D.C., held at the Ronald Reagan Building this June, participating Korean startups engaged in strategic discussions with U.S. government agencies, enterprise buyers, and venture investors—resulting in MOU signings, pilot opportunities, and long-term partnership deals.
Organized by Korea’s National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) under the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT), and delivered with the support of the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA), Didim365, and beSUCCESS Media Group, the summit aims to foster deep collaboration between Korea’s rising tech ventures and Japanese enterprises, investors, and system integrators.
Held at Makuhari Messe, the summit will feature live demos, pitching sessions, business matchmaking, and investor networking designed to create tangible opportunities for cross-border scale and cooperation.

Building on Global Momentum
This summit builds on the success of past GSMP showcases in Japan and the United States. Most recently, the 2025 U.S. edition held at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C. (June 18–19) proved the international appetite for Korea’s SaaS innovation. That event facilitated high-impact conversations between Korean startups and key American government agencies, enterprise buyers, and VCs focused on mission-driven digital transformation.
In 2024, the Korean SaaS Showcase at Japan IT Week featured 15 high-growth companies across cloud, AI, analytics, and cybersecurity—many already generating significant revenue, with some surpassing $100 million and demonstrating strong global scalability.
In 2025, the Tokyo summit reflects Korea’s strategic effort to position itself not only as a manufacturer of consumer tech but also as a global exporter of enterprise software excellence.
