Korean startup bitBlue, which provides Non-Fungible Token ( NFT )-based Web3 (Decentralized Web), attracts initial investment from Mashup Angels. bitBlue provides two services the web3- based personal profile service ‘Know-Yourself’ and NFT-only infrastructure ‘NFTainment ‘.
Established in November 2022, bitBlue aims to popularise NFTs for personal creations. The bitBlue team, which comprises experts in the field, is developing NFT-based services and dedicated infrastructure to create various contents and IPs that will lead a new culture in the Web3 ecosystem.
KnowYourself is a web3 service that allows personal creations such as pictures and music to be issued and sold as NFT on-chain and can be shared and communicated with multiple people by linking to various web2 social services. Nftainment is an E2E ( End to End ) service dedicated to NFT. It provides NFT initial consulting, production, issuance, operation, and marketing.
Nftainment provides individually tailored services such as IP and worldview planning, NFT design and production, publication, community formation, NFT linkage, and IP expansion for NFT projects for individuals and companies, and celebrities. Nftainment also provides a dedicated infrastructure for integrated management of contents and NFTs and is characterized by developing its original IP
BitBlue is led by CEO Joo Sang-sik, who has over 17 years of experience in the strategy and development of future technologies such as AI, blockchain, and metaverse at SM Entertainment. Joo Sang- sik, CEO of BitBlue, said, “We plan to recruit key talents to advance our service through this investment attraction. “Based on the company’s quick project orders, we plan to focus on securing references from NFtainment.”
Lee Taek-kyung, CEO of Mashup Angels, talked about the investment, “NFT is expected to become popular not only in the entertainment industry but also to creators and general users in the future. It is expected to lead the culture and grow rapidly.”
