The COVID-19 pandemic has made people realise the world over the importance of healthcare and fitness. Also, the demand for digital healthcare has increased. People want to measure body composition vitals easily but want to avoid going to clinics or gym. Korean startup ONESOFTDIGM has developed a small and portable device Fitrus Plus that measures body composition and health indices. The device has caught a lot of attention from fitness enthusiasts and athletes. Now the company wants to reach out to more people for its fitness measuring products.

Just place your fingers and know your body measures

ONESOFTDIGM’s Fitrus Plus measures seven health data like body water, muscle mass, heart rate, body fat, basal metabolic rate, forehead temperature, step counts, and stress level. The IoT-Based pocket-size device Fitrus weighs only 45 gm and can be connected with a smartphone app to easily get all the readings. The device is made of smart sensors and OLED display. It is simple to use Fitrus Plus by downloading the app from Google Play or Apple App store and inserting information like height, weight, gender, and age. Then pinch the 4 electrodes on the device with both thumbs and index finger for body composition and positioning the round sensor about 5cm close to the forehead to measure body temperature. The results will appear on the Fitrus App. Fitrus uses Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) to measure body composition, body fat, skeletal muscle mass, body mass index, and basal metabolic rate. Fitrus plus is priced at $165 and comes with USB charger and user manual.

ONESOFTDIGM also has Fitrus A, which is more of a goal-setting device for exercise and fitness. It measures the same health indices as Fitrus plus is more directed towards those who want to set goals for exercise and monitor changes in the body based on body fat and muscles. Fitrus A has less number of sensors and is priced at $110. ONE SMARTDIET makes ONESOFTDIGM has one more device ONE SMARTDIET that measures, analyzes, and monitors body composition.

Startup aspires to lead the fitness-measurement market

Fitrus’s devices are getting rave reviews from life sciences magazines and gadget websites.
Now, mobile fitness being the fastest-growing content category for the Mobile Healthcare Market, expected to reach $ 2 billion by 2024, ONESOFTDIGM expects to become a global leader in health indices measurement.

ONESOFTDIGM is a hardware and software development company whose goal is to be the paradigm for wellness worldwide. Based on our accumulated technology and differentiated know-how, the startup has to lead the domestic Korean market and has subsidiaries in the Netherlands and the US. ONESOFTDIGM wants to expand the B2B2C market and has conducted pilot projects for corporates like employee fitness and cross-fit fitness in the USA. ONESOFTDIGM wants to do B2B subscription-based and partner with schools, healthcare institutes, senior care, and police/military forces. ONESOFTDIGM has got investments from government programs, Postech holding, SP&G, Enlight Ventures and is now seeking Series A funding to expand its Fitrus platform and digital content.
