Korean startup PURRIT wants to capture ample space in the pet tech market with its innovative products. The brand uses robotic technology to improve the quality of life for pets and support pet owners. Its product, PURRAIR, is a portable air purifier, and SCUBIC is an automatic cat litterbox. PURRIT entered the market with great success in crowdfunding in the United States and Japan.

Cats and dogs are the most popular choices for pet lovers. In that, cats are increasingly becoming more preferred for their low maintenance. However, there are two difficulties while raising a cat: life and hygiene. 

Cats need proper defecation disposal, and many companies have introduced litter disposal bins, with limitations. PURRIT has developed SCUBIC, a unique litter box that overcomes the limitations of market-available litter boxes. 

SCUBIC is designed to provide enormous interior space and storage space. Through original patented technology, it fundamentally solves the problems of existing products and provides a brand new user experience. SCUBIC’s stackable design is suitable for multi-cat households. SCUBIC will also be connected with an AI health management platform.

PURRIT wants to promote SCUBIC through social media endorsements, crowdfunding campaigns and offline customer feedback. The company has entered the pet tech markets in the US and Japan. PURRIT aims to capture 10% of the share in the automatic cat litter box market, which is said to be about $ 1 million as per Technaivo.
