TravelFlan raises $ 7 million in Series A funding led by SPK AI Travel Tech Fund

TravelFlan, a Travel and lifestyle AI digital solution provider, announced that it has received $ 7 million as Series A investment. The funding has been led by SPK (Sogong PinPoint Kclavis)  AI Travel Tech Fund, a newly established venture by Sogong Advisors, PinPoint Venture, and Kclavis Capital. The other investors in the round include Artesian Capital, Linear Venture, Construction-Radiant Tech Ventures Fund, Hong Kong Government ITVFC Fund, SOSV and its accelerator, Chinaccelerator.

TravelFlan focuses on a B2B2C business model. The company aims to tackle fast-growing Asia Travel and local lifestyle markets using Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data and Machine Learning technologies. With combined capital from Chinese, Korean, Australian and American investors, TravelFlan is expanding internationally and drawing on resources from across the globe to execute its mission to create customer-centric solutions that can benefit both B-end and C-end customers.  By partnering with leading organizations, TravelFlan’s solutions enrich and expand partners’ travel and lifestyle services, turning traffic into tangible and intangible benefits, and thus increasing their capability to monetize and engage with their existing user base.

TravelFlan utilizes cutting-edge AI and big data technologies to create incremental values for its business partners and end customers through AI chatbot and backend simultaneous auto-update data processor (SADP). Its core solutions include text-based/voice-enabled AI personal concierge, supply chain/inventory management system, big data analytical engine and inventory aggregator/processor. Meanwhile, TravelFlan combines AI technology with self-developed big data analytical capability to empower its signature Digital Marketing Suite for ultimate results.

In addition, TravelFlan’s close relationships with 100+ content and product suppliers such as KLOOK, KKday, Travelport and SmartInfini give the startup access to a large scope of unique and diverse travel experiences for travellers. At the backend, TravelFlan operates a powerful data center, which consolidates and processes a tremendous amount of local content and data from multiple angles to ensure accurate and efficient performance.

Currently, TravelFlan is working with a number of industry leaders including China Mobile, Samsung Group, SITA, Hong Kong Airlines and many more to tackle their revenue and customer experience issues.
