Sam Corporation Inc (CEO Park Jaebeom), the educational content platform “Story Creator” developer, completed a demonstration project, PoC, applying its platform to local schools in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, in November 2023.
This POC was conducted as part of a test project in Tallinn, and Sam Corporation was the only Korean startup company selected for this project. The Story Creator platform was tested on approximately 60 students from three classes in two schools. Sam Corporation received a certificate of appreciation from Mihhail Kolvart, Mayor of Tallinn, in recognition of the service’s innovation.
Estonia is an emerging economic powerhouse in Northern Europe and is also the country where Skype was born, living up to its nickname of the “Silicon Valley of Northern Europe.” Estonia is beginning to become a digital powerhouse by introducing coding classes in elementary schools and providing public services using blockchain technology. Story Creator, introduced by Sam Corporation during this PoC process, is an AI-based educational platform solution that helps students collaborate with each other. By using this platform, students can develop their creativity and imagination. For example, students can endlessly create their own content and share or develop their content with other users around the world.
Park Jaebeom, CEO of Sam Corporation, said, “Our goal is first to introduce our services and receive positive reviews in countries with excellent average scores on international academic achievement assessments. After that, we plan to market our services in the European market aggressively and be recognized for the innovation of our services.
Sam Corporation is headquartered in the Metaverse Hub in Pangyo Techno Valley. The company is trying to enter the global market, starting with the European market. Its Story Creator will be used in the “Container Eduverse Project” in Finland starting in 2024, meaning that schools in Helsinki will use Story Creator in their classes. In addition, the company plans to participate in the BETT Show in the United Kingdom in January 2024 to introduce Sam Corporation’s services to various European countries attending the event.
