goorm (CEO Ryu Seong-tae), a company that develops an educational content platform, announced the appointment of Kwak Kyoung-ju as its new Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).

Kwak Kyoung-ju will be responsible for developing potential business areas where goorm can create synergy by converging with its proprietary technology and promoting rebranding and global commercialization for its existing products.

goorm has an excellent understanding of virtual OS and Cloud Development Environment (CDE). Based on its know-how, its ability to operate cloud infrastructure and analyze the digital environment is highly regarded. The company is also achieving good results in the IT education field by rapidly developing and launching various solutions.

Kwak Kyoung-ju has worked in the financial sector and various startup companies and has participated as a presenter at numerous international conferences. He has collaborated with prestigious organizations such as Interpol, the US FBI, and Europol, as well as top-notch overseas companies. He is particularly confident in global communications and has experience planning SaaS products that are adopted by large corporations and government agencies both domestically and internationally. He is expected to lead goorm’s business strategy in the right direction.

goorm’s CEO Ryu Seong-tae said, “By appointing Kwak Kyoung-ju as our CSO, I believe that our company has taken an important first step in global business expansion. In the future, we will work with him to reinforce our business strategy and expand our business at home and abroad. Thanks to that, we will provide better service to our customers.”

CSO Kwak Kyoung-ju said, “I have been a loyal customer of goorm’s services for a long time. Now, not only as a goorm’s user but also as a goorm’s team member, I want to contribute to developing its services and expanding its business.”
