The global Artificial Intelligence (AI) market valued at $ 39.9 billion in 2019 is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 42.2% from 2020 to 2027, as per a global market report. The growth in AI has directed tech giants, companies, startups to continue innovation, research, and adapt to advance technologies in many areas such as auto, healthcare, finance, retail, manufacturing, etc.

AI solutions for quicker, easier management

Korean startup AIMMO, which specializes in AI learning data process platform, is looking towards a brighter future and is expanding to overseas markets like the USA, Europe, and Japan. AIMMO introduced its AI data labeling solution’s beta version of AIMMO Enterprise in 2020. AIMMO’s deep learning collaboration solution enables anyone to easily, quickly and accurately label data based on web and manage communication optimized for collaboration such as setting work steps, speed, and quality monitoring.

“The landscape of AI industry has changed rapidly with a greater need in training and labeling data,” AIMMO CEO Seungtaek Oh, said in a media statement, “AIMMO Enterprise goes with needs in AI industry as a hassle-free self-service data platform for greater agility, accuracy, and efficiency.”

AIMMO Enterprise’s user-friendly interface enables hassle-free data annotation without any installation or coding process. AIMMO’s platform is a game changer to handle data labeling management solutions – project planning, member invitation, advanced labeling tools, and data management.

Features of AIMMO Enterprise

  • Quickly and accurately search for Annotation results for deep learning
  • User can easily design labeling work through intuitive UI without any development knowledge
  • The speed and quality of work are monitored for each operator and the work schedule is expected.
  • Communication management for collaboration
  • Customized data export function
  • Supports various types of data labeling such as 2D/3D/VIDEO

AIMMO also provides AIMMO’s Annotation Workforce Service – a fully managed labeling service from project planning to quality assurance. AIMMO’s labelers and data scientist team have accumulated in-depth know-how in various fields – autonomous driving, robotics, and image recognition. The mission of AIMMO is supporting the Machine Learning and AI community with AIMMO Enterprise and Workforce service.

Founding team & future expansion

AIMMO was founded in, 2016 by a group of engineers and developers from leading tech corporates – Google, Naver, Kakao, and Daum. AIMMO has been developing own labeling tools and solutions for various tech domains since 2016. The tech startup provides efficient data annotation by planning a project considering the AI model’s purpose and data characteristics.

AIMMO has conducted data labeling of more than 100 million cumulative instances with large Korean corporations and public institutions – Kakao, Naver, SKT, SSG, Hyundai Motors, AICT(Advanced Institue of Convergence Technology) and many AI tech startups. AIMMO’s experience in labeling 3D point cloud data with LiDAR sensors has received recognition in AI industry which ranges from autonomous driving, image recognition, to smart surveillance.

The fast growing AI company plans to establish strategies for expanding to new regions, and actively enter the learning data processing platform, autonomous driving sensor fusion data, and AI learning data processing market.

AIMMO has been selected for an overseas branching project managed by the Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Korea International Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), Small and Medium Venture Business Corporation (SBC), and the World Korean Trade Association (OKTA). By March 2021, AIMMO plans to move to the UK’s MIRA Technology Park (MTP) and collaborate with various global autonomous driving companies to provide high-quality autonomous driving data.
