The integration of Artificial Intelligence and big data technology can produce marvelous tools. Korean startup AKA has been developing such integration to create essential communication tools, such as speaking, writing, facial expressions, and gestures. The startup’s ‘MUSE’ is an AI engine driven technology that makes communication between IoT and humans seamless. AKA’s AI Robot MUSIO is another of its unique product that can be used for educational purposes.

A Social & Education Robot

MUSE is an AI-Powered English communication Engine that supports diverse communication needs. Muse is designed to understand textual language, oral language, gestures, and facial expressions. Muse is embedded with multiple English Educational features that can analyze and enhance users’ English skills and progress. AKA is developing the communication engine on neuroscience to interplay neural graph memory networks and deep learning.

MUSIO is more of a Social Robot, an AI robot companion that can learn new phrases, ideas, and information, making possible interactions and conversations with human beings. MUSIO is also an educational Robot that makes learning English and coding more accessible. Designed in a small round shape with two-hands and short legs, MUSIO has a cute look. MUSIO, with its future artificial intelligence, can be a great companion for children and the elders in the family. When paired with a companion device, SOPHY, an interactive learning device, MUSIO enhances the English learning process. AKA has acquired a considerable amount of educational material and curriculums to fit with different English learning levels.

English learning made easy

MUSIO can be applied as an education API (SaaS). It processes each provider’s educational contents and converts into dialogue learning format, analyzes students’ English proficiency on behalf of native speakers or teachers, is an interactive AI engine for unlimited conversation, and can give real-time feedback. AKA also has an Artificial Intelligence life-coaching app ReSmart with a brain training program, meditation, and recommended daily activities that are designed to improve cognitive skills.

AKA’s MUSE and MUSIO Robot have garnered much attention from Korea and Japan’s education & science community. MUSIO is the only verified robot working with the Ministry of Education in Japan & South Korea. MUSIO is used in 117 schools in Japan to teach English, and it has also entered South Korea schools. AKA plans to market its robots and technology to B2B and B2C audiences and cater to events and exhibitions. AKA has partnered with best-selling education companies for content development. AKA wants to expand its MUSE to other countries in the future. AKA has offices in Seoul, Tokyo, Shanghai, and Santa Monica.
