K-Pop, the genre that has taken the world by storm, mesmerizing fans from Seoul to San Francisco and everywhere in between. But as K-Pop enthusiasts will tell you, it’s not enough to merely listen to the music. The true magic of K-Pop comes alive when you dance to its rhythms, mirroring the sensational moves of idols and groups who’ve set the world stage ablaze.

But for fans who are miles away from the vibrant streets of Seoul, finding the right dance community and learning intricate K-Pop choreography can be a challenge. That’s where Sparky comes in—a platform that is set to revolutionize K-Pop’s global reach. Established in 2020, Seoul-based startup DEVUNLIMIT launched Sparky, a revolutionary mobile service that leverages artificial intelligence (AI) motion capture technology to redefine how users learn and interact with dance.

Sparky is a groundbreaking mobile service that has gained a global following, allowing users from 181 countries to immerse themselves in the world of dance and K-Pop rhythms. Its AI 3D choreography registration and choreography copyright automation system are set to further enhance the user experience, creating a platform that’s a game-changer in the world of dance and entertainment.

The Sparky Ecosystem Going Global

The secret behind Sparky’s appeal lies in its interactive dance challenges. Users from every corner of the world can participate, making it a global K-Pop dance party like no other. What sets Sparky apart is its capacity to turn any dance video into an interactive challenge, all in under a minute. It’s a platform that connects K-Pop fans worldwide, unifying them through the joy of dance.

With a blockchain-based AI dance and trainer video platform, Sparky captures users’ joints through their mobile/PC camera screens, delivering realistic content that makes dancing, yoga, pilates, and more accessible and enjoyable.

In a world where entertainment is dynamic, Sparky addresses critical challenges:

  • Infrastructure for Dance Concerts: Sparky eliminates the need for costly infrastructure by allowing dancers to create and participate from any location.
  • Real-Time Performances: The trend for real-time entertainment is on the rise, and Sparky capitalizes on this by offering interactive dance challenges.
  • Affordable Access: Existing options can be expensive, but Sparky keeps it cost-effective and accessible.
  • Monetization: The platform provides a seamless way for creators to monetize their content.

Key technologies drive Sparky’s success, including lighting pose estimation and keypoint detection, focusing on ankle and wrist points. The platform also collects data from experts to ensure accurate motion capture, considering factors like skin and background.

Sparky’s business model offers flexibility. Subscribers can join unlimited dance challenges without interruptions from ads, ensuring an uninterrupted experience. For free users, participation is still an option, but ads will accompany their dance challenges.

Sparky’s expansion strategy involves collaborating with K-pop creators, using YouTube data APIs, sharing links with subscribers, and uploading dance cover videos. With this approach, Sparky is poised to create a global dance phenomenon.

DEVUNLIMIT, the mastermind behind Sparky, has attracted a remarkable 1.9 billion KRW in investment. The company aims to take its AI motion technology-based platform global, focusing on the choreography copyright market, an area that’s been less active than its music copyright counterpart.
